Will the plants you carry survive here?

All of the plants that we carry will survive through the winter in USDA Zone 7. We carry plants from USDA Zone 3-7. We do have a large selection of indoor house plants too!

When is the best time of year to plant?

All of our plants are sold in a pot or container. With container gardening, planting can be done throughout the year. Summer planting is fine for the plants, they will just need to be watered about two to three times per week while temperatures are high. The plant is already in a container, so there is no extra trauma to the root system. If water is not easily accessible, late fall planting is advised. Transplanting is recommended in late fall to winter when temperatures are cooler. Remember to water even in the winter! Please refer to our planting guide below for best results.

Do you offer landscape design?

Yes. Please visit our Landscape Design page for all the details, including information on our popular 'Sketch and Go' option.

How do you plant trees, shrubs, or flowers?

Planting doesn't need to be a mystery or something to be intimidated by! Actually, most gardeners will say that they find planting to be relaxing and therapeutic. We have prepared a planting guide that we hope you will find helpful. Feel free to reference it when you begin your project.
